● How does your workplace embrace equality?

We have a female pastry chef consultant and we have employed females in our staff in the past

● As a woman, how do you make sure that you embrace equality? When you are the decision maker how do you make sure you are not gender biased?

I think one does not need to always think about work from a gender perspective, whether is a female or male, it’s important to recognise talent and character and be gender neutral when it comes to merit but be open to maintaining gender diversity to drive better performance.

● Do you believe that gender inclusive policies are justified with an increasing number of women in the industry while still not being a 50% strength or close?

I think the trend is slowly changing with more women joining these sectors, it will take some time to grow for example there has been a push to allow more flexible hours, further the ambition gap contributes to the problem of gender imbalance, it is important to invest in women at junior and senior levels, and being a women founder myself, being a role model is also a motivating factor, they should it as an inclusive innovative work place to build a career.
