How does your workplace embrace equality?
We at Shiv Sagar group do not judge performance and growth based on gender. We give equal opportunities to all deserving candidates and we ensure that our team grows with us. We have some really strong & independent women in our management, staff & admin teams taking care of roles from (Management,HR,Service,Kitchen & Accounts) standing & working shoulder to
shoulder with our men while helping shape our policies, growth & direction.
As a woman, how do you make sure that you embrace equality? When you are the decision maker how do you make sure you are not gender biased?
As a woman I am a strong supporter of gender equality. And embrace that in my day to day functioning as well as while making big business decisions. I
ensure I don’t see any individual as a woman or man while making any decisions & solely evaluate them on their performance.
Do you believe that gender inclusive policies are justified with an increasing number of women in the industry while still not being a 50% strength or close?
While our industry is dominated by men, there are enough and more women who are changing the game and creating a strong foothold in the industry. I believe policy or no policy women in
today’s day & age will find their way into multiple roles including senior management roles. The policy will assist in pushing industry to hire more women. But irrespective I see the future with a
lot of women in different roles entering our industry. More Power to all the women out there doing some wonderful work.
