Mysuru 16th May 2023: Grand Mercure Mysuru has appointed Gopinath John Surendranath as General Manager. He will handle all aspects of the hotel’s operations, including leading a talented team of professionals, developing, and implementing strategies to drive revenue, enhance guest satisfaction, and increase brand recognition. Gopinath John Surendranath comes with over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry having worked with Accor and Novotel in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai. 

Gopinath John Surendranath holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Christ University Bengaluru and a master’s degree in international hospitality management from Sheffield Hallam University. He is also a proud alumnus of Accor’s GM Pass 2020 cohort.
