Chowman Chain of Restaurants Sharing Insights on Tableware and Glassware: The Unsung Heroes of an Exquisite Dining Experience!
...
For fine-dinings like Chowman, glassware and tableware are of utmost importance. We at Chowman do not want to come out as just another Chinese fine-dining restaurant. This is why we import our decors from parts of Asia like Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong. Today, many new restaurants have replicated us and our tableware, so it might seem common but one with a keen eye can easily spot the finesse that we cater to even the simplest thing like our glassware.
These elements help in defining the aesthetic and enhancing the ambiance of a restaurant. Many of our crockeries have been chosen to set a tone for the meal. Unique crockery are there to represent a dish and put up the presentation of a dish. Moreover, we also have to keep in mind the convenience in storing these crockery at our kitchen end and reduce cutlery damage. We also keep up the stock to have portion control as well. High quality crockery actually brings the ethos of fine dining. For us, we have incorporated the chopsticks to urge people to not just consume Chinese but to learn the very art of eating which is perfectly induced in Asian culture. Moreover, we have dominantly incorporated white cutlery as a representation of our brand theme and colour. Red will be found as a tableware because that is very vibrant, whereas white is the perfect contrast to it and gives that perfect simplistic, yet classy fine dining feel to the diners.
Currently, we are planning to introduce some coloured crockery and see the tonal set in a few of our outlets keeping in mind that the recent trend of modern Asian Fine-dinings is putting more focus to pastel coloured, textured crockery. However, it is just an idea cornered for now.
