● How does your workplace embrace equality?
Embracing equality anywhere is about the mindset first. It starts with how we think about these things and that will lead to how we will act on them. For us it’s more about being humans before being a man or a woman.  We have always ensured a great working environment for everyone and we ensure equal opportunities for all.

● As a woman, how do you make sure that you embrace equality? When you are the decision maker how do you make sure you are not gender biased?
Like I shared before, it starts in your mind. For me it’s about being with humans and not a gender in particular, so creating a bias is out of the question. For us we always ensure that everyone is enjoying their work, they feel safe, respected and enjoy what they are doing. In my opinion the minute I say how “I as a woman does this….” is me not striving for inclusiveness.

● Do you believe that gender inclusive policies are justified with an increasing number of women in the industry while still not being a 50% strength or close?
I believe that not on all occasions gender is a problem, there are a lot of other things. So it’s not necessary that an industry has less women because it lacks gender equality, but it can be for many other reasons, like maybe we women don’t want to take up a particular profession, so while gender inclusive policies are important, it might not be the answer everywhere
I think along with gender inclusiveness, we need to also focus on safety, hygiene etc, at a workplace no matter how many women you have in the workforce.
