The Indian wedding industry is massive and one of the key business segments, as it contributes significantly to hotel catering and banqueting revenues. Weddings, especially in India, remain a stable business irrespective of economic decline. Due to multiple factors, this segment has shaped up to be a profitable one. Weddings are no longer a one-day event, and the industry is benefiting from an increase in wedding spending. Many millennials no longer observe auspicious dates, and this is proving to be a profitable industry all year.
