In describing himself, Chef Rohit succinctly defines his approach with three words: Perfectionist, Creative, Skilled. These qualities have been the cornerstone of his success and have shaped his journey through the culinary landscape.

Passionate about his craft, Chef Rohit’s dedication to food is unwavering. His favorite holiday destinations include the serene beauty of Tirthan Valley in Himachal, India, and the picturesque shores of Krabi, Thailand, abroad.

Adding to his accolades, Chef Rohit opened “Aafreen,” a Modern Indian restaurant at Westin, Pune, which received the prestigious Times Food & Nightlife Award for the Best Modern Indian Restaurant in Pune.

As Executive Sous Chef at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake & Lakeside Chalet, Chef Rohit’s primary responsibilities include ensuring smooth restaurant operations, menu development and execution, maintaining food quality standards, and staff training and development.
