Gurugram, November, 2023 – The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences is delighted to introduce Ms. Meenakshi Prabhakar as the newly appointed Human Resources Director. Ms.Prabhakar carries an extensive 31 years of HR experience. Prior to joining The Leela Family, she was associated with various reputed brands, including ITC Welcome Group, The Oberoi New Delhi, Radisson Hotel Worldwide, the Grand Hyatt Delhi, Sita World Travel, and Kuoni.

Her journey so far has been filled with exciting challenges and learnings from the changing facets of business and the world around her. Ms. Prabhakar holds an MSc in Psychology, a Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, and has shared her expertise with prestigious brands.

In the HR department, Ms. Meenakshi will have a pivotal role in reorganizing companies, leading HR processes, suggesting inventive HR solutions, and strengthening The Leela Family.

Throughout her career, Ms. Prabhakar has been a driving force in implementing HR policy formulations. Her remarkable achievements include working with numerous of the best-known names in the industry, like IHG Hotels at Crown Plaza Today Gurgaon. Ms. Prabhakar’s primary skill set boasts agreements through collective bargaining and optimizes work efficiency through strategies like piece-rate wages and reduced overtime. She also spent six years with Accor Hotels. Additionally, she successfully established and played a pivotal role in initiating Myriad Hotels in her career span.

The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences believes that Ms. Prabhakar will assume a pivotal role in human resources, leading strategically and implementing a comprehensive HR approach across the group, which will consistently support and enhance the hotel’s broader business strategy by fostering the growth and well-being of its entire workforce.
