Sohail is an alumnus of Rizvi College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, affiliated with the American Hotel and Motel Association. A seasoned chef, he credits his grandmother as his source of inspiration. It’s under her guidance that he spent the formative years of his life learning different cooking techniques and dishes.

His last assignment was as the executive chef of the Intercontinental Hotel Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. His culinary panache and signature style are well-known among many other prestigious brands like Jeddah Marriot Hotel Saudi Arabia, Doha Marriot Hotel Qatar, Taj Mahal Palace & Tower Mumbai, and Le Royal Meridian Hotel.

He has successfully supervised catering events for important people, such as former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, His Royal Highness Late Sultan Qaboos of Oman and his delegation, and Prince Charles of Wales and his delegation. He has helped brands as grand as Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, Mumbai win awards like the Conde Naste Magazine Award and the Times Food Award.

Chef Sohail believes that food should deliver utmost happiness to the consumers and hence believes in the continual polishing of his creative approach towards cooking. He loves treating guests with the most exquisite flavours and a culinary charisma acquired over the years.

Sohail is married and lives with his wife, mother, and two kids. He has managed to strike a perfect chord between work and personal life and loves spending his leisure time cooking for the family or developing new recipes and garnishing styles.
