The best time to visit the Adventure Capital of the country is the hiking season from September to November which coincides with the fall season. The weather is not too hot nor too cold making it ideal for a trek up in the mountains or in the vibrant forests set ablaze with the colours of the season.

The last weekend in September and the beautiful season of autumn mark the beginning of the grape harvest in Switzerland. Wine enthusiasts can take part in the traditional grape harvest, vineyard visits, parades, and dancing events during this time.
