New Delhi, 28th April, 2023: Mosaic Hotel Mussoorie, one of the leading upscale properties, is delighted to announce the appointment of Nishant Lal, as the Executive Chef. With an experience of 8 years, Nishat is going to head the F&B (production) department at Mosaic Hotel Mussoorie. He will also be responsible for culinary management, kitchen planning and cost-management of the department.

In his new role, Nishant is prepared to manage the kitchenette’s staff, approving food before it is served to guests and overseeing the production of a variety of delectable dishes. In his capacity as executive chef of the upscale commercial property, he will also be in charge of the training of the culinary staff, creating new signature dishes, designing menus, managing price layouts, performance evaluation, budgeting, and cost control with successful results.

Nishant is a graduate of a hotel management programme who started his career as an intern with ITC Hotels and has since worked his way up to the position of Executive Chef at Mosaic Mussoorie. During the last eight years he has worked with renowned hospitality brands such as The Oberoi Group of properties and Resorts, World Luxury Cruises, JW Marriott Mussoorie, and the Time Out Award-winning Restaurant in Riyadh. He took care of staff management, menu planning, F&B production, cost control, and kitchen facilities, developing plans, setting service standards, and overseeing every aspect of daily operations while working in the past. He also has a solid base of closely monitoring the entire operation, starting with the management of inventory levels for smooth operation.
