InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Gobu Kumar as Executive Chef, under the “Room to Grow” program. Gobu brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success within the IHG family.

Gobu joins us from Crowne Plaza Chennai, where he served as Executive Chef and played a key role in driving IHG’s SWA Share and Conquer initiatives, contributing significantly to the hotel’s success. With over four years of dedicated service to IHG, Gobu has consistently demonstrated his commitment to excellence and the values that define our organization.

A graduate of Cheeran’s College, Erode, with a degree in Hotel Management, Gobu is deeply passionate about exploring new places and discovering innovative culinary experiences. His dedication to embedding IHG’s culture of high performance and recognition is truly commendable.
