Pune, 15th September, 2022: Courtyard by Marriott Pune Chakan has appointed Pradnesh Kishor Ravte as ‘Sous Chef’ to join their culinary team. Chef Pradnesh will be working closely with Executive Chef Feroz Patel in the culinary operations of the Hotel and the in-house MoMo café.

Chef Pradnesh holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Hospitality Studies from Anjuman-I-Islam’s Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and has extensive work experience.

Prior to joining Courtyard by Marriott Pune, Chakan, Chef Pradnesh was working with the Taj West End Bangalore as a junior sous chef . During his tenure at ITC Maratha, Mumbai, he assisted Michelin star Chef Julia Komp for her pop up dinner at ITC Maratha during her visit to India. Chef Pradnesh was also part of the successful dinner that happened during the Ambani’s wedding at Jio Garden.

During his training at Sofitel Mumbai BKC for 4 months, Chef has worked in various departments in food production, food & beverage, housekeeping & front office. This training gave him an exposure to handle different departments in the hotel.

Talking about the appointment Chef Pradnesh said- I am happy to be a part of the great team at Courtyard By Marriott Chakan. A hotel known for its culinary structure and overwhelming hospitality, I am excited to strengthen my role and work closely with the team.

Chef Pradnesh would bring fresh ideas in his roles and responsibilities at Courtyard by Marriott. He would be responsible for managing the kitchen and taking care of the guests.
