For a business to succeed in the hospitality industry providing proper customer experience is important but prioritizing customer experience now has become vital as the competition in the market has fairly increased. Customers look for places to stay where they can get the best possible service they need and feel appreciated and valued. Since covid has ceased the leisure of experiences the guests could receive implementing and innovating new ways to enhance their experience has become crucial.

To provide this customer experience the hospitality industry have implemented methods such as giving the hotel staff proper training to provide guests of all kind experiences that the guests prefer. Another way the industry prioritizes customer experience is by providing faster amenities from food, booking, transportation and more to creating a good experience in every stage of the guests journey. The industry also uses technology to provide better customer experience by adopting chat bots and customer support centres to provide services without having any contact in person.

Embracing Sustainability

Since the pandemic hit, many got a closer look to how sustainability benefits the industry. The younger generation look for industries that contribute to the community. Adopting eco-friendly practices in the hospitality industry like eliminating the use of plastics, creating sustainable F&B menu helps improving the brand image while also saving costs. The guests also feel like they are contributing to the betterment of the environment by using energy saving technologies. The staff are trained to be responsible for environmental management. The hospitality business is futureproofed as they earn their green badges by contributing in reducing carbon footprints.
