Maldives, 10 October 2022 – Global hospitality group The Lux Collective’s award-winning resort – LUX* South Ari Atoll in the Maldives has created a special Diwali itinerary for its guests to celebrate the festival of lights and pamper them with a relaxed mindful festive getaway.

The resort’s Diwali morning kick-starts with a rejuvenating Yoga session facing the serene beach and the ocean. Guests will carry the post-workout glow from the invigorating DIY Illuminate facial workshop to master the techniques of facial massage for everyday beauty regimens from the resort’s LUX* ME Spa with an expert trainer. There are latte art workshops in the island’s coffee roasting room to learn how to make cups of coffee more enticing with a special Diwali touch. Guests can get an energy boost with an exciting range of water sports activities at half price.

While the waves of the azure waters nudge the Universe to grant hopes and dreams, a visit to the resort’s Tree of Wishes is a must.

Food is always the highlight of Indian festivals, especially Diwali. Guests can enjoy a culinary afternoon whipping up holiday specials alongside LUX* South Ari Atoll’s chefs at Veli Bar.

The evening presents the colorful Rangoli competition, which allows an artistic showcase of creating colorful sand patterns at the island’s West Point. As the sun kisses the ocean in the evening, immerse in the breathtaking nature with a curated menu of specialty drinks and Indian delectable delights. With exclusive seatings, guests are encouraged to pre-book the Maharaja Night Dinner at Senses Restaurant and for the special Diwali DJ Night.
