At Crowne Plaza Chennai, by not discriminating between women and men equality is embraced. All are treated alike and given equal responsibilities to handle.
As a woman, how do you make sure that you embrace equality? When you are the decision-maker, how do you make sure you are not gender-biased?
As a decision maker especially financial, I ensure there is no bias by giving equal opportunity to all and deciding only based on prudence and necessity and not on the basis of people.
Do you believe that gender-inclusive policies are justified with an increasing number of women in the industry while still not being a 50% strength or close?
Gender inclusive policies are existent but not implemented in full. It would be complete only if the workforce includes equal number of women and men employees. Not just to employees but also to other employers.
