CII Maharashtra State Council announces New leadership team for 2024-25

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Maharashtra State Council organized its Annual Meeting.

Mr Vishal Vithal Kamat, Executive Director of Kamat Group, succeeds Dr K Nandakumar, Chairman & Managing Director, Chemtrols Industries, as the Chairman of CII Maharashtra State Council for 2024-25. Mr Kamat, a BSC Graduate of Science from the esteemed IHMCTAN Mumbai, has been groomed over 18 years in the hospitality sector by his father Dr Vithal Kamat,  and leads the Kamat Group’s flagship brands -‘The Orchid’ Asia’s First 5 Star Ecotel Hotels – Mumbai, Pune, Lonavala, Shimla, Manali, etc ‘Fort Jadhavgadh’ Maharashtra’s only Fort Heritage Hotel – Pune, Lotus Resorts – Konark, Goa & Murud-Harnai and Mahodadhi Palace – Puri, amongst others.

The newly-elected CII Maharashtra Chairman Mr Kamat said that The CII Maharashtra vision aligns with the overarching goal of a ‘Viksit Bharat@2047,’ and he affirmed that it will thrive on innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity. “In Maharashtra, we envision infrastructure not just as concrete and steel but as pathways to opportunity, bridges to connectivity, and avenues for inclusive development,” he emphasized.
