Mumbai, India – June 07, 2024 – The Travel Agents Federation of India’s (TAFI) Western India Chapter joined forces with the Consul General of Mexico to host a successful evening dedicated to destination Mexico. The event, aimed at travel agents, tour operators, and tourism representatives, fostered connections and collaboration within the travel sector with a focus on promoting travel to Mexico.

The evening commenced with a warm welcome by the Honorable Consul General of Mexico, Adolfo García Estrada emphasizing the long-standing cultural and economic ties between India and Mexico and the potential for even greater collaboration in the tourism sector. The member attendees were then transported to a captivating session that delved into the rich tapestry of Mexican culture, from its ancient traditions to its vibrant contemporary scene focusing on the plethora of attractions that Mexico has to offer Indian travelers.

The evening wasn’t complete without valuable industry insights and an informative presentation by TripToMexico, a Mexico DMC represented by Global Destination.
