Flavius, a native of Mumbai, Maharashtra, brings with him over 14 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with some of the country’s most prestigious luxury brands.

In his new role, Flavius Chettiar will be responsible for overseeing the re-positioning of the food and beverage venues within the hotel, with a focus on enhancing the overall dining experience for guests. His wealth of knowledge and expertise will play a pivotal role in elevating the culinary offerings and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Flavius Chettiar’s career in the hospitality industry began with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in Mumbai, where he laid the foundation for his passion for food and beverage. He graduated from the highly regarded Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD) in 2011, further enhancing his skills and knowledge in the field.

As Director of Food and Beverage at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Flavius will be responsible for managing various food and beverage outlets, including Seasonal Tastes, Prego & Pronto, Eighteen Lounge, Kangan, in-room dining, banquet and meeting spaces. His role will encompass achieving annual budget goals, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining departmental profitability, introducing new F&B concepts, and fostering the growth and development of the team.
