Goa, August 2024 – The St. Regis Goa Resort is delighted to announce the appointment of Hitesh Rai as the Executive Chef. With over 18 years of culinary expertise in renowned luxury hospitality brands, Chef Hitesh is set to bring his vast knowledge and passion for culinary innovation to enhance the resort’s culinary offerings.
Chef Hitesh Rai joins The St. Regis Goa Resort following his recent tenure as Executive Sous Chef at Hilton Amingiri, Maldives, and previously at OZEN Life Maadhoo, Maldives. His career includes leadership roles at prestigious properties such as The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, and Conrad, Pune, where he spearheaded Koji, the specialty Asian restaurant, which was awarded one of India’s Top 50 Restaurants by Condé Nast Traveller in 2018.
Chef Rai’s diverse experience spans various global cuisines, including Asian, Japanese, and modern fusion, cultivated through his work with renowned chefs like Bruno Menard and Nooror Somany Steppe. His meticulous attention to detail and creativity promises to elevate the dining experiences at The St. Regis Goa Resort, offering guests an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
