Goa, 5th June 2024 – In celebration of World Environment Day, DoubleTree by Hilton Goa-Panaji has proudly announced the installation of a new Statiq electric vehicle (EV) charging station located at their esteemed property, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to sustainability. This new addition aligns with Hilton’s ‘Travel with Purpose’ initiative, which aims to drive positive environmental and social change through eco-friendly travel solutions.

The charging station features two types of chargers: DC charger of 60 KW and AC charger of 22 KW suitable for most electric vehicles. This service is available to both hotel guests and the public, making it easier and more accessible to adopt sustainable transportation options.

Users of the charging station are required to download a dedicated Statiq app, which allows users to pay for charging their vehicle, ensuring a seamless and efficient payment process for this paid service.

While the vehicle powers up, guests and visitors can indulge in the luxurious amenities at the on-site restaurant, Rio Salao. They can treat themselves to a steaming cup of coffee or savor an array of delectable culinary delights. Guests can relax and unwind in style as they recharge as well. Take in the serene ambiance and enjoy exceptional service. Whether in the mood for a light snack or a gourmet meal, visitors will find that Rio Salao promises a delightful dining experience for every palate.
