Surat, India – The Surat Marriott Hotel is thrilled to announce that Chef Sunder Chand has joined the team as our new Executive Sous Chef. With over 20 years of culinary experience under his belt, Chef Sunder is a seasoned professional who brings a wealth of knowledge and a global flair to kitchen.

Throughout his illustrious career, Chef Sunder has worked with some of the some of the most prestigious brands in the Marriott, including The Westin, St. Regis, Renaissance, and JW Marriott. His international stints have honed his skills and given him a deep appreciation for diverse culinary traditions, all of which he is excited to bring to the table at Surat Marriott Hotel.

As our Executive Sous Chef, Chef Sunder will be the second in command in the culinary department, working hand-in-hand with the Cluster Director of Culinary. His mission is to elevate the dining experiences and delight hotel’s guests with innovative, top-notch cuisine that meets the high standards Surat Marriott Hotel is known for.

Chef Sunder’s last assignment was at Fairfield by Marriott Vadodara, where his leadership and culinary creativity garnered significant acclaim. His dedication to his craft has earned him numerous awards and recognitions over the years, a testament to his commitment to excellence in the culinary arts.
