India, 28 October 2022 – Percept Live, creators of Sunburn, in association with the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, have officially announced the inception of ‘GOA VILLAGE’ – a special Cultural Zone that will be created at the 16th edition of Sunburn Festival Goa scheduled from 28th to the 30th of December, 2022 at Vagator, Goa. This exclusive zone will be dedicated to showcasing and promoting the vibrant Art, Culture, Cuisine and Lifestyle of Goa from locally established and upcoming Talents.

The promoters took to social media to reveal the big announcement that will not only showcase the diverse elements that make for the vibrant and rich Art, F&B and Culture of the State of Goa, but also enable established and upcoming talent residing in Goa to showcase and promote their talent at a globally acclaimed international music platform during the peak tourist season of the State.

Sunburn has joined hands with the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa to invite all Goans to participate in the creation of the all new ‘GOA VILLAGE’. The aim of the endeavour is to showcase to the world the vast and incredible history and culture that defines the quintessential essence of Goa. Sunburn has invited both recognized and upcoming talent residing in Goa to co-create the ‘GOA VILLAGE’ by contributing their unique talent to display the unique flavours of Goa. The invite extends into multiple domains spanning Music including DJs, Bands and Singers, Dancers, Ancillary Performers, Variety Entertainers, Chefs, Mixologists, Artists and Designers in order to ensure the ‘GOA VILLAGE’ showcases the vast and prolific history, art and culture so distinctive to the State of Goa.

Budding artists have been invited to mail in their personal details along with a synopsis and sample of their talent of what they wish to showcase at the Goa Village at: sunburn.goavillage@perceptindia.in With an underlying theme of ‘The Future Is Now’, Sunburn Festival Goa 2022 will showcase a spectacular three-day live event imbibing the best of electronic dance music, state-of the-art technology and high-octane entertainment. The mega festival will also have a specially curated F&B Village, a Flea Market and a range of fun activities including a Sunset Point, an Open Air Cinema, Bungee Jumping, Zip Line, Ferris Wheel, and several other games and engagements. Fans can also enjoy camping across the sprawling grounds at Vagator as Sunburn will offer the best in-class camping facilities to make for a comfortable accommodation. The festival will also host multiple After-Parties with leading International and Indian acts. This year will also have an Opening Party on 27th December, and a gala Closing Party on New Year’s Eve.

The festival will follow all government permissions, guidelines, and best practices to ensure fan safety, and is subject to government permissions.
