Shangri-La Al Husn is located on a exclusive clifftop, nestled between the dramatic backdrop of rugged mountains and the pristine waters of the Gulf of Oman. Whereas Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah is set on a landscape of 124 acres and is home to two spectacular wings: Al Waha, “The Oasis” which is the perfect family destination, and Al Bandar, “The Town” which is at the heart of the resort. The Shangri-La Al Husn is located on the clifftop and is Oman’s sole adults-only resort for guests above 16 years old, and the hotel pays homage to a private beach cove, a private pool and enhanced guest experiences.
On top of these, the properties are just 15 minutes by car from the city and business district, with easy access to many local shopping and cultural attractions. The privacy is unparalleled, and the views, from clifftops to beachside scenic views, are breathtaking.

Cuisines from different regions differ, and it all depends on the palates of the guests and the preferences of the wedding planners or clients. Some people would like to have a taste of the local cuisine, whilst others prefer to bring their country’s flavours.
We have a pool of talents in our kitchen from various countries of the world: Asia, India, China, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Greece, Italy, London, Africa, etc., so any culinary experience can be personalised, from local to internationally acclaimed chefs such as Rohit Ghai.
Customized and curated packages for weddings as per client’s choice is a must these days. How do you manage and strategize to fulfil each and every wish of your guest?
The team is comprised of a good number of experienced events professionals who have had a good number of years in the industry. While every wedding is different, most of the basic requirements remain the same, and these we have put together as our main wedding package that we offer to our couples.
The beauty of it is that packages are always customizable to cater to our couples’ needs, and with the services and facilities offered in the hotel, we usually have available what most of the couples need from these packages.
Encompassing any inclusion and venue requirement of a package, the hotel has the basic software essential to every wedding: experienced and trained staff who all intend on delivering service from the heart, focused on delighting our wedding couples and their guests.
