New Delhi, 28th October ‘24: The Republic of Türkiye commemorated its 101st Anniversary with a grand gala hosted at the Ambassador’s residence in New Delhi on 25th October. This year, the significant milestone in the nation’s history was celebrated with elegance and vibrancy, bringing together distinguished guests from the realms of business, politics, tourism, culture, and art.

The gala dinner, hosted by H.E. Mr. Firat Sunel, saw the presence of over five hundred prominent attendees, including Indian dignitaries, Turkish nationals, as well as Ambassadors and diplomats from various nations. The evening offered a vivid celebration of Türkiye’s rich cultural heritage, featuring captivating performances of traditional Turkish music and an exquisite selection of Turkish cuisine. Guests indulged in signature dishes such as döner, various Turkish kebabs, Turkish baklava, ice cream and delightful vegetarian Turkish dishes cooked with olive oil, prepared by skilled Turkish chefs. Heightening the festive atmosphere, lucky draws, which included flight tickets and vacation vouchers to popular destinations in Türkiye, added a layer of excitement to the evening’s proceedings.
