New Delhi, 29 November 2023 – Malaysia Airlines welcomes a new era of travel convenience for Indian visitors with the introduction of a 30-day visa-free entry for Indian citizen travellers as announced recently by the Government of Malaysia.

In line with this significant development, the airline is amplifying connectivity by doubling the flight frequency on the Amritsar (ATQ) – Kuala Lumpur (KUL) route, beginning 15 January 2024. Additionally, the airline is pleased to commence direct services from Ahmedabad (AMD) – Kuala Lumpur (KUL), effective 1 December 2023. To mark this occasion and encourage travel, Malaysia Airlines is introducing an exclusive Year-End-Sale, offering attractive fares starting from INR9,889 across its network.

Key Highlights:

1. Increased Connectivity on Amritsar – Kuala Lumpur Route: Responding to robust demand and strong load factor performance, Malaysia Airlines is doubling its current frequency on the Amritsar-Kuala Lumpur route starting 15 January 2024. The airline will now operate four times weekly:

2. Commencement of Ahmedabad – Kuala Lumpur Route effective 1 December 2023:

The airline will also operate direct services from Ahmedabad-Kuala Lumpur, starting 1 December 2023 with 4 weekly flights; raising the count of weekly flights on Malaysia Airlines to Indian destinations to 65.

3. Exclusive Year-End Sale (YES) Fares Starting from INR9,889: In conjunction with these exciting developments, Malaysia Airlines is launching its exclusive Year-End-Sale, inviting Indian travellers to explore diverse destinations at attractive fares.
