Udaipur, 03rd April, 2023: Sandipan Bose has been appointed by ITC Hotels as the General Manager for Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur, the hotel group’s maiden property under its latest luxury brand, Mementos by ITC Hotels. Bringing along over two decades of experience of working within a highly competitive environment in the Indian hospitality sector, Sandipan will lead the operations at Mementos Udaipur and develop and strengthen the brand.

He has been associated with the property since its pre-launch phase and he will strive to aptly position the ITC Hotels’ new luxury hospitality brand in the thriving hospitality market of Udaipur.

A result-oriented and self-driven professional, Sandipan holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Meerut began his career 23 years ago. He joined ITC Hotels at ITC Maurya in 2000 and since has worked in different roles at various major hospitality brands across India.

Having worked in different roles, Sandipan brings along a unique combination of extensive operational excellence, blended with a sound knowhow of financial and food and beverage product concepts. Equipped with a clear understanding of strategically managing hotels, he excels in areas of auditing, training and development, consulting, marketing, leadership, and innovation.

Mementos Udaipur is the first gem of ITC Hotels’ latest brand Mementos, through which it strives to deliver unique luxury stays across different destinations. Working in different markets in a variety of roles has helped Sandipan carve a niche for attaining operational excellence. His astute business acumen and team leadership abilities will ensure the new brand will not just be widely sought-after but also recognised for the ITC promise of unique luxury hospitality.

Sandipan is known for his well-executed strategies and keeps his team encouraged through each business process so that the guests get a carefully curated and elevated luxury hospitality experience. An ardent traveller and cyclist, In his leisure time, Sandipan prefers spending time with his family which includes his wife, a finance professional and eight-year-old son.
