HRAWI Conducts FSSAI’s FoSTaC Programme In Phaltan, Satara

Mumbai, July 13: The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI), in collaboration with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), conducted its latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) programme

Mumbai, July 13: The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI), in collaboration with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), conducted its latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) programme on July 09 at the Jakson Inns in Phaltan, Satara. Attended by 36 hospitality professionals, the training aimed to enhance knowledge and skills in ensuring safe and healthy food practices. Such an initiative like the FoSTaC underlines the significance in today’s health-conscious and food safety-aware environment.

The FoSTaC programme was inaugurated by Mr Vivekanand – Trainer, Mr Shailesh Rajadhyaksha – General Manager, Jakson Gourmet, Mr Ashish Ranjan – General Manager, Jakson Inn, Ms Rakhi Bansali – Executive Assistant to Managing Director and Ms Bharti Vania – Senior Sales Manager.

HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 2647 professionals in FSSAI’s FoSTaC Training Program.

“It is in the interest of hotels and restaurants that HRAWI holds training programmes regularly and wants members to be fully aware and educated about all the new developments and practices in food safety, food handling and hygiene. The programme is designed by FSSAI, especially for this purpose, and we are glad that members proactively enrolled their staff in the programme,”

The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) is a 72 years old Association of Hotels and Restaurants in Western India. Its members include Restaurants and Hotels up to 5-Star Deluxe categories. With membership base spread across Western India, HRAWI covers Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and is considered to be the voice of the Hotel Industry. The association is part of the national body of Federation of the Hotels & Restaurants Associations of India (FHRAI), located in New Delhi, which was originally founded in Mumbai in 1950 by the late Mr J.R.D. Tata.
