Goa, 13th August 2024 – The Goa Tourism pavilion shined bright at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) Ahmedabad, part of India’s largest travel trade show network. This esteemed event took place from 7th to 9th August 2024 at the Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar. The Goa tourism delegation comprised Shri Laxmikant Vaingankar, General Manager of GTDC, Shri Sudesh Tamboskar, Assistant Tourist Officer of DOT, Shri Prashant Parsekar, Information Assistant, DOT, and Shri Pritesh Palyekar, Manager IT, GTDC. The Goa Tourism Pavilion at TTF Ahmedabad was a hub of excitement and interaction, attracting a large number of visitors who engaged with our co-exhibitors.
The Goa Tourism Pavilion was awarded the Best Decoration in the Large Pavilion category at TTF Ahmedabad 2024, reflecting the state’s commitment to creating an engaging and visually captivating exhibit, highlighting Goa’s distinctive appeal to all visitors.
TTF Ahmedabad served as an excellent platform for Goa Tourism to showcase its unique and diverse offerings to both national and international audiences. The pavilion featured a range of experiences that highlighted Goa’s rich cultural heritage, vibrant festivals, adventure opportunities, and stunning beaches, promising an unforgettable experience for every visitor. Shri Mulubhai Bera, Minister of Tourism, Cultural Activities, Forest & Environment, Climate Change, Government of Gujarat, along with Shri Sanjeev Agarwal, Chairman of Fairfest Media Ltd, visited the Goa Tourism Pavilion at TTF Ahmedabad.

A key focus of Goa Tourism’s participation this year was its commitment to sustainable and regenerative tourism. Visitors to the pavilion had the chance to explore initiatives such as hinterland exploration, heritage restoration, and spiritual tourism, emphasizing our dedication to preserving Goa’s natural and cultural heritage. Highlights of the pavilion included detailed information on the circuit of 11 temples of the Ekadasha Teertha, offering a spiritual journey through Goa’s sacred sites. AAdditionally, visitors were given information about the upcoming exposition of St. Francis Xavier at the Basilica of Bom Jesus, scheduled from November 21, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Interactive exhibits and discussions showcased efforts to rejuvenate natural and cultural resources while benefiting local communities through our Regenerative Tourism initiatives.
