With our country continuing to transition to electric vehicles, we have all become aware of the environmental and economic benefits of electric vehicles. Hyatt Regency Hotel & Residences Pune has always believed and practiced sustainability and has recently installed an EV charging station at their premises with an objective of reducing the carbon footprint to address the climate change and impact of our activities on natural world. 

Hyatt Regency Hotel & Residences Pune aims to meet the fast-growing demand of EV users travelling to Pune. By providing this facility, hotels can attract more guests, appeal to desirable high spending customers and establish the brand as a sustainability leader which eventually helps in improving the bottom line.

Hyatt Regency Hotel & Residences Pune has joined hands with Fortum Charge & Drive (C&D) India as their “Charging Partner” to install EV charging points at their property for their guests.

Fortum C&D India is expanding the robust Public charging network in the country and has installed base of 365+ Public charging points across 12 states & 2 UTs, 16 cities including 4 highways and growing. Fortum Charging network includes 50/60 KW CCS/CHAdeMO chargers, Type-2 AC Chargers, as well as 15/20/30 KW DC001 chargers catering both to EVs like Mercedes EQC, BMW i3, Audi e-Tron, Hyundai Kona, MG ZS, Tata Nexon, Tata Tiago, Mahindra eVerito /Tata Tigor etc.

The charging stations are up and running at the hotel. Earlier, such technologies cost a fortune, however times have changed and with more technological advancements, both cost and maintenance have been reduced. Running on clean energy sources, these vehicles are eco-friendly and reduce carbon footprint thus positively affecting the economy. By embracing such technology, Hyatt Regency Hotel & Residences Pune only strives towards making this planet a cleaner and safer place to live.
