Fairfield by Marriott Mumbai International Airport is delighted to announce the appointment of Paresh Dalvi as the new Chief Engineer. With an extensive and impressive career spanning two decades in the hospitality industry, Paresh brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to his new role.

Paresh Dalvi began his hospitality journey in 2004, rising from a technician to a chief engineer. His career includes esteemed positions with prominent brands such as ITC Maratha Hotel, Four Seasons, IHG, Four Points by Sheraton, The Lalit Suri Hospitality, The Fern Hotels & Resorts and Reliance Jio World Centre Hospitality in Mumbai. Throughout his career, Paresh has demonstrated a dedication and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, focusing on energy conservation, engineering audits, compliance, repairs and maintenance and defect-free operations. His commitment quickly propelled him into leadership roles.

In 2016, Paresh joined The Fern Hotels & Resorts as Head of Engineering, where he successfully managed projects and preopening operations, enhancing customer satisfaction from an engineering perspective. His journey continued at Reliance Jio World Centre in 2019, where he excelled as Senior Manager Engineering. Handling an impressive 3.2 million square feet of area with equipment and machinery, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational capabilities, managing guest areas, front of the house, back of the house, and utility sections.

Pre-pandemic and post-pandemic, Paresh took on the role of Senior Engineering Manager, consistently demonstrating dedication and an ownership mindset towards assignments from senior management. In this position, he played a crucial role in revitalizing operations, implementing innovative strategies, and driving customer satisfaction.

In 2024, Paresh joined Fairfield by Marriott as Chief Engineer and Head of Department. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the department’s success by organizing initiatives to increase customer satisfaction scores, implementing cost-saving measures, focusing on guest voice scores, and monitoring Marriott sustainability scores.

As Chief Engineer, Paresh aims to build on sustainable practices, energy conservation, cost reduction, and defect-free operations within the department.
