PANAJI, JUNE 26, 2024: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), Goa’s largest hospitality operator and leader in the tourism sector welcomes Ms. Sheetal Singh as General Manager – Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa and Ms. Megha Bhatia as General Manager – Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa.

Ms. Singh joined IHCL in 2008 as Deputy Housekeeper at The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai. Following her tenure at the iconic hotel, Ms. Singh excelled in prominent roles including Executive Housekeeper and Director of Rooms at Taj Bangalore. Her career progressed to her first general management position at Ambassador, New Delhi – IHCL SeleQtions. Following a successful stint in the capital, Ms. Singh was appointed as General Manager at the flagship Ginger Mumbai Airport where her dynamic leadership played a pivotal role in the success of the brand. A hotel management graduate from the Institute of NIHMCT and a postgraduate diploma recipient from Welcome Group Management Institute, she went on to complete her Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma through ECS. With a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction, innovating daily operations and maximizing team potential, Ms. Singh is poised to elevate the globally acclaimed Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa.

Ms. Bhatia began her journey with IHCL as a Management Trainee in 2014, quickly advancing to strategic positions as Restaurant Manager at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi and Corporate Director – The Chambers where she played a crucial role in the brand’s expansion. With an MBA in Global Hospitality Management from the esteemed Les Roches Switzerland, Ms. Bhatia possesses a global perspective and an in-depth understanding of the hospitality industry. A firm believer in empowering through trust and inspiring through action, she embodies a leadership philosophy centred on fostering cooperation, developing potential and delivering results. As General Manager of the legendary Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa, Ms. Bhatia’s core values, leadership acumen, and exceptional execution skills will be instrumental in continuing the legacy of the historic property, a cornerstone of Goa’s hospitality sector since 1974.
