Courtyard by Marriott Goa Colva is delighted to announce the appointment of Sameer Kapoor as the new Hotel Manager. With over 15 years of professional expertise in a range of roles within the Rooms Division, Sameer brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach to our team.

Sameer joins us from his recent role as Operations Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Goa Colva, where he played a pivotal role in both the pre-opening and post-opening phases of the property. His responsibilities included overseeing infrastructure readiness, managing pre-opening and post-opening budgets, and ensuring the property met all corporate guidelines. Sameer’s strategic planning has been instrumental in setting the foundation for our hotel’s success.

Before joining Courtyard by Marriott Goa Colva, Sameer served in various leadership roles at Le Meridien Goa- starting as Front Office Manager and progressing to Rooms Division Manager. His tenure was marked by significant achievements in guest satisfaction, financial performance, and repeat customers. He successfully led the hotel’s Senior Leadership Team, ensuring smooth operations and driving key financial metrics including room profitability.

Sameer’s extensive experience also includes his role as Quality Assurance Head for North India at Treebo Hotels & Resorts, and various positions at The Leela Ambience Convention, The Westin Mumbai Garden City, The Imperial New Delhi, and The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa. His career has been characterised by his ability to lead teams, manage guest relations, and implement effective training and development programs.

Sameer holds a B.Sc. in Hotel Administration, with a certification affiliated to IGNOU. His linguistic abilities include fluency in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and elementary knowledge of German. Outside of work, Sameer enjoys bike riding, travelling, photography, and music.
