National, August 9, 2024: Café Akasa, the onboard meal service of Akasa Air, has launched its first-ever Navroz Special Meal, marking a new addition to its monthly festive meal series. This gourmet offering features a delectable Parsi Mutton Cutlet and a Mini Bun Maska filled with cream and cheese, accompanied by a delicious Mawa Cake and a choice of hot beverage. Akasa Air has taken inspiration from the rich culinary traditions of the Parsi community to celebrate Navroz, the Parsi New Year. Available throughout August 2024, this meal can also be prebooked on Akasa Air’s website  or mobile app.

Navroz, meaning “new day” in Persian and the exclusive offering in the Indian skies takes inspiration from traditional Parsi delicacies, prepared with cultural and hearty ingredients to ensure guests savor the richness of the festive meal.

Since launching operations in August 2022, Akasa Air has been committed to offering specially curated meal options that reflect regional specialities associated with various celebrations. From Makar Sankranti to Valentine’s Day, Holi, Eid, Mother’s Day, International Yoga Day, Monsoon season, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Diwali, and Christmas, Café Akasa continues to enhance the flying experience with festive meals.
