July 27th, 2022, Bangalore: Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru ORR has appointed K.L. Ramakrishnan as the new Chief Engineer.

Starting his career as Assistant Project Engineer in 2005, Ramakrishnan forayed into the hospitality industry in 2010 with The Leela Kempinski Goa. A proficient hospitality engineering professional with fourteen years of experience, Ramakrishnan demonstrates strong technical, analytical, communication and talent management skills.

An expert in overseeing and guiding the Engineering and Maintenance team, Ramakrishnan comes with immense experience. Ensuring an excellent level of guest satisfaction, he has the expertise in maintaining high standards of buildings, machinery, plant, fixture and equipment in all the departments.  

Before joining the Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru ORR, he had worked with renowned brands like The Lalit New Delhi, Zone by The Park Hotels Coimbatore where he headed the Department of Engineering and Airways Hotels and Apartments Ltd Papua New Guinea. In his last stint as a Chief Engineer, he has been responsible for the renovation of the 10-year old property with ibis Navi Mumbai and ibis Styles GOA.

In his current role, Ramakrishnan would be implementing policies, standards and procedures falling under the arena of engineering and technical work across all the departments.
