Chennai, 20th June 2022 – Hyatt Regency Chennai, has recently elevated Mr. Elayaraja R. as  the new Associate Director of Events. He has over 15 years of rich experience & expertise in  all aspects of Event Sales & Planning.  

In his new role, Elayaraja will be responsible for generating revenue for the hotel, managing weddings & MICE events and creating memorable experiences for guests. He will also manage  operational and administrative functions to ensure the events are delivered efficiently along with  monitoring the progress of the planning and execution of each task. He will also oversee key  sectors that include business development, key account management, crisis management and  client servicing.  

Elayaraja joined Hyatt Regency Chennai as an Event Sales Manager in 2016. In his previous  tenure, he was associated with brands such as, The Leela Palace & Le Royal Meridien,  Chennai; The Claridges Surajkund, Delhi and The Trident (Oberoi), Jaipur. 

He is known to maintain the highest service standards and consistently achieves operational  excellence with his attention to detail. Elayaraja looks forward to create and train a high performing team and drive results for the hotel.
