Being Asia’s Pioneering Environmentally sensitive chain of Hotels,  we have strongly believe in the concept of “Ecotourism”, Our Units Lotus Eco Beach Resort at Konark & Fort Jadhavgadh – Pune are the classic example of this. where providing sustainable eco friendly services by conserving cultural heritage of that area & creating authentic tourist experiences is its key essence. Thus, this Environment Day we take pride in promoting the theme of One Earth, where we live in harmony with nature. We simply do not say but strongly believe in Saving the Environment in the best possible way, We have always maintained the highest level of environment standards at all our hotels by working on our philosophy of the 3 R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. All our guest services & internal processes revolve around the 5 Globes of Environment: Energy Management, Water Conservation, Environment Commitment, Water Conservation & Solid Waste Management. 

In order to accomplish our goal of solid waste management all the waste is segregated at source by following 4 bin theory and food waste is again recycled in to vermicompost and then used as a rich fertilizers for our gardens. To conserve water we have aerators installed in each tap which consumes 70%  less water as compared to the other conventional taps. Recycling of sewage water through the STP plant, which is then utilized in the cooling tower & flushing purpose.

Lastly We educate our employees by organizing various activities and training programme every month such as beach cleanup drive, Save Water, Say No to plastics, Tree plantations and Creating discarded linens as cloth bag and many more supporting sustainability for Only one Earth and a better Earth. This is our little contribution to save our environment and living sustainably in harmony with nature.
