Ahmedabad, May 26, 2022: ITC Hotels recently announced the appointment of Ravindra Singh, as the chief engineer of ITC Narmada in Ahmedabad – the luxury property of ITC Hotels, which will soon be launched and operationalised. At the hotel, Ravindra will directly oversee operations that will elevate the guest experience by upholding ‘Responsible Luxury’ for which ITC hotels are renowned for.

Ravindra holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from REC, Allahabad. Since three decades, he has worked in diverse roles for project execution and operations in different hotel brands. After projects department in IHCL, he moved to the operations team in IHCL in the year 2000. In 2006 left IHCL and joined the ITC hotels division at ITC Mughal, Agra and later worked with ITC Grand Central Mumbai and ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru.

With an impressive career spanning three decades, Ravindra’s versatile skill set ranges from property management, pre-opening, project management and sustainability implementation. Most recently, he headed the Engineering division at ITC Gardenia. Under his guidance the property successfully implemented and received LEED Platinum Certification, LEED Zero Carbon Certification, ISO 14000, ISO 22000 and OHSAS Certification.

Ravindra brings along proficiency in maintenance management, strategic planning and sustainability implementation at luxury hotels as he prepares for the pre-opening hotel – ITC Narmada.

With a strong eye for detail, optimization, budget management and communications, Ravindra will spearhead and lead the team as it strives to continuously enhance the guest experience.

Commenting on his appointment, Ravindra said, “I look forward to joining ITC Narmada. The property is all set to benchmark the avant garde philosophy for luxury hospitality in Ahmedabad.”
