Katra, Jammu & Kashmir – November 2024 – Holiday Inn Katra Vaishno Devi is pleased to announce the appointment of Gaurav Sharma as its new General Manager. With over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Gaurav brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the property, continuing his journey of growth and success with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

Gaurav joined IHG in 2019 and has since held key positions across several properties, including his most recent assignment as Task Force General Manager at Holiday Inn Amritsar. He has also worked at Holiday Inn Goa Candolim and Holiday Inn Agra, where he successfully managed hotel operations, improved guest satisfaction, and implemented revenue growth strategies. Prior to IHG, he has worked with brands such as Lemon Tree, The Leela, Radisson, Pride Hotels, Trident, and Renaissance.

Through IHG’s Room to Grow program, Gaurav has leveraged the company’s commitment to employee development, which has enabled him to take on increasing responsibilities and successfully manage multiple hotel operations. Gaurav’s leadership style focuses on operational excellence, guest experience, and team development. He is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, ensuring that each guest enjoys a personalized and memorable experience.
