Novotel ibis Chennai OMR and Novotel Chennai SIPCOT has appointed Sethumadhavan Raman as the Director of Talent & Culture. As an Armed Forces Veteran, Sethu served The Indian Navy for fifteen years & comes with an extensive background in the hotel industry.
Having worked with HTC Global Services and Hyatt Hotels prior to joining AccorHotels, he began his career with Accor Hotels as part of the pre-opening team for Ibis Chennai City Centre and Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road. Furthermore, he managed Cluster Talent & Culture functions for both the hotels Novotel & ibis Chennai SIPCOT. In his recent role, he served as Director of Talent & Culture at ibis New Delhi Aerocity. His contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility was recognized by Accor Hotels in 2017 awarding him the CSR Person of the Year in India.
Sethu lives by the “People First” philosophy and strongly believes that every individual can make a difference to the society and environment regardless of how small the contribution may be. He is an avid Cultural traveller with a passion for visiting historically significant places, and a Cricket enthusiast who enjoys keeping up with the latest happenings in the sport.
