Travellers from across the country can now enjoy traditional delicacies that are considered an intrinsic part of festive celebrations while flying with Akasa Air. This exclusive meal is an amalgam of customary delicacies, including flavourful Matar Masala Poori and Kala Chana Ghugni accompanied with Raj Bhog and a choice of beverage. The specialty will be available throughout the month of October 2023, across the Akasa Air network and can be conveniently pre-booked on Akasa Air’s website or mobile app.
Beyond offering a unique culinary experience, this festive delight is a thoughtful way to elevate the in-flight experience and create lasting memories for passengers during this special time of year.
Since the launch of operations in August 2022, Akasa Air has introduced specially curated meal options that are inspired by regional specialties associated with celebrations during popular festivals and special occasions like Diwali, Christmas, Makar Sankranti, Valentine’s Day, Holi, Eid al-Fitr, Mother’s Day, International Yoga Day, Monsoon season, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, among others. The airline also offers a pre-selection of cakes on its regular menu for flyers who want to celebrate the birthdays, anniversaries, or any special occasions with their loved ones in the skies.
As a part of Café Akasa’s refreshed menu, which was revealed in June 2023, customers can expect an expansive choice of over 50 meal options including healthy, fusion, festive and gourmet meals that cater to a wide array of diets and palettes.
