Bengaluru, March 2023 – Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel is delighted to announce the appointment of G. Manivannan as the new Pastry Chef. Boasting more than 12 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Chef Manivannan is a driven and dynamic culinary professional who has worked with several top-tier 5-star hotels in India and Dubai.
In his new role, Chef Manivannan will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s bakeries and confectioneries right from ensuring smooth and efficient working of the restaurant, develop the new menus & specialties along with the executive and sous chefs, train the staff, ensure economy and food control, check food wastage and ensure proper utilization of raw materials thereof, breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner for all day dining, banquets and more. His expertise, combined with his degree in B.Sc. Catering and Hotel Administration and M.Sc. at Annamalai University that will enable him to bring innovative and fresh ideas to the hotel’s dessert offerings.
Throughout his career, Chef Manivannan has been known for his creative approach and unique ideas in the field of pastry-making. He has worked with renowned brands such as Park Hyatt Hyderabad, TAJ MG Road Bengaluru, The Ritz-Carlton Bengaluru, One&Only Royal Mirage Dubai, and Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru, The Raintree Hotel, Chennai, Quality Inn Sabari, Chennai making him a well-regarded expert in his field.
