Here are the few initiatives taken by the team to #BeatPlasticPollution :

Water bottling plant at the Resort: Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort is one of the very few hotels in India to have its water bottling plant on-premises which is in sync with Hyatt’s Global Initiatives to Significantly Reduce Single-Use Plastics. The resort also features reusable glass bottles in guest areas that are aligned with the well-being of guests and underscores the commitment to many sustainable practices. The glass bottles are thoroughly sterilized before each use and then filled with pure drinking water and sealed shut with single-use stickers that break on the opening.

Planting a tree on special occasions: We believe that a green environment enhances the quality of life. So, It is our pleasure to encourage our guests to plant trees on their special occasions, and they do visit the resort to check on the plants and see how beautifully they are growing and adding a touch of magic to the surroundings.

Cleaning Drives: Our mission is to clean the captivating mountains and restore them to their original, pristine state since we want to provide the best for the environment. Team Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort works with the local authorities to organise Cleaning Drives periodically. We have been cleaning up and removing plastic debris and bottle fragments from Dharamshala’s tourist attractions.
