We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Surendran K as the Director of Sales and Marketing for The Westin Chennai Velachery.

A passionate hotelier and results driven professional, with an impressive 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Prior to this, he worked with some of the finest hotels in Chennai, namely Courtyard by Marriott Chennai, Hyatt Regency Chennai and The Residency Towers. He has achieved significant milestones such as being ranked among the top management team that has achieved and exceeded budgeted GOP from 2021 to 2023 in South Asia for revenue management.

An alumnus of American Hotels Lodging Association, he also graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Annamalai University. An enthusiastic leader with an energetic and affable personality, he is deeply passionate about people and their development.

He believes in positive colleague interactions with good working relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family in Chennai, indulging his passions for biking and soulful music.
